Colorado Revised Statutes define Trespass as the unlawful entry or remaining on the property of another person.
Trespass can be charged as either a misdemeanor or a felony depending on the circumstances and the type of property trespassed upon. There are three types of Trespass charges in Colorado:
First Degree Criminal Trespass (C.R.S. 18-4-502)
Second Degree Criminal Trespass (C.R.S. 18-4-503)
Third Degree Criminal Trespass (C.R.S. 18-4-504)
